Cricket

Cricket / We adopted Cricket (aka Crickers) at about 10 weeks old from a rescue group in Phoenix, AZ. She ate what we were already feeding our other pup, which was Natural Balance. After a year or so, I decided to try my hand at making their food using various supplements I read about online, along with cooked rice, green peas, carrots, and turkey. By this time, we had 3 dogs and I worried that I wasn't able to give them the right amount of supplements in their diet. I started looking into healthier options that didn't require a nutritionist degree to create, and came across Honest Kitchen. I picked up some samples at a local store and all 3 of our pups instantly loved it! We started with Keen, and have since added Preference into the rotation with cooked turkey or chicken to keep them from getting bored. I didn't realize it at the time, but Cricket had developed digestive issues over the years - she could NOT eat new things without suffering later. With Keen and Preference, her tummy stays happy and we limit treats to just a few dried or fresh fruits and veggies occasionally.
