Cricket

Yorkshire Terrier

We got our little Cricket at 4 mo. from an top show breeder 2/09. She was over weight & for 1+ yrs. we tried to get her weight down. In 9/11 after we took a trip to a lake beach she caught a cold and continued
nto get worse. She was after many tests put in an intensive care unit for a week at the Pullman, Wa.Vet. Hosp. She was diagnosed with severe IBS, leaky gut and heart murmur. She was sent home with medications I had to wear gloves to give, science diet ZD, she lost her hair, went down from 4.10lbs. to 3.1lbs and had a big hole in her side. After a year weekly blood tests I started to research. After getting the OK from her doctor started to slowly give her supplements/nutritionally good food and the doctor said
nafter 6 mo. whatever you are doing don't stop, her blood work is all good!. They were surprised. She now eats Honest Kitchen, boiled chicken and steamed veggies.
