Cyrus

Cyrus / Cyrus had digestive issues that made it hard to get him to eat any food, even prescription vet food, dog treats, or human food, so I wasn't surprised, but I was disappointed, when he only ate a few tiny meals of Honest Kitchen before rejecting it.
nIt turns out that no matter what food I gave him, it would make him feel sick because he had an umbilical hernia.
nOnce we got that surgically fixed, his appetite returned.
nAt first I gave him prescription and upscale kibble, but it was hard for me to carry his food with my disability and there would be nobody to help me with it and nowhere to store it when I went to college. That brought me back to Honest Kitchen.
nCyrus loves it. Even though he still has appetite issues with kibble, as soon as I put this food down he finishes it within minutes. I don't have to free feed to get in his required calories anymore. The food I get from Honest Kitchen will help him grow up strong.
nIt's pretty great for me too. I've always wanted to try raw feeding, but there's no way I could do it consistently or without a base food, so I use the just add water formulas for their convenience and quality, but when I have meat I can give my dog with the just add water and protein formula as an extra treat. Plus, it ships right to my dorm and fits easily in my small living space.
nHonest kitchen is perfect for my service dog and for me.
