Declan

I've had a Maltese previously and the little guy ate anything I put in front of him. I, of course, assumed Declan would be the same. No such luck. From the start it was a struggle. I stubbornly attempted to keep him on a diet of hard kibble and he would actually refuse to eat for a day or two at a time until he would finally pick at it, eating just a tiny bit. When I was finally reassured by the vet that feeding him soft food was absolutely fine, I went on a hunt for the best I could find. Honest Kitchen was my first and last stop. All I ever wanted was to see my little guy actually excited to eat something, and once he got a taste of it, he now is each and every day. I'm so thankful that I can feed him something that I have complete confidence in and that he actually looks forward to!
