Dixie
Dixie has had one of her anal glands and a non-malignant mass removed and has trouble passing her stools. The vet wanted to do an exploratory surgery to see what the problem might be for between $5000 and $6000. I have no family, only Dixie and Pip (a 5 year old Flame Point Siamese). They mean the world to me. I couldn't put Dixie through another surgery that may not have provided any results, nevermind the outrageous cost. She was always getting backed up and it would eventually cause her death. It seemed like I had no choice but to put here down; she deserved a quality life that didn't seem possible. I did a lot of research and found the Honest Kitchens' dehydrated dog formula. I decided to give it a try. I had nothing to lose and have tried just about everything else. Well, let me just say that Honest Kitchen saved her life. She has no more issues with her stool backing up and I believe it is do the her being an a Honest Kitchen dehydrated diet mixing to a consistency that was inline with her condition. A very big thank you to Honest Kitchen from Dixie! Woof Woof!
