Enzo

Enzo came into my life when I was 20 years old. I was young and truly not ready to take on the things Enzo has brought to me but our story is full of love and care with plenty of stress and struggle. Enzo was just 6 months old when I adopted him and he was only 6 pounds. I thought he was likely underweight but also seemed like a very small dog so not too concerning. After adjusting kibble feeding for months he never gained weight and always had stomach problems. Many vet visits later we discover a poultry allergy including duck, turkey, chicken and later finding out eggs. Suddenly all kibble as it�s baked with egg became unavailable. We tried SO MANY feeding options. He gained weight and grew over another year before we found The Honest Kitchen at almost 2 years old!!! On December 8th he will be 4 years old! In April of 2021 he finally hit his target size and weight at 15 pounds!!! 3 years in the making and my little baby dog is finally healthy and truly happy. With digestive health came positive behavioral changes, a more affectionate dog, and a truly happy pup.
