Espresso is our beautiful red dachshund girl. And ever since we got her she has been a sick puppy. Vets claimed that she had food intolerances and put her on prescription kibble as a puppy. There was slight improvement, but she continued to have GI issues. And then she developed hot spots on her skin, which she would itch at profusely and then develop a staph infection. We would have to put a cone on her to keep her from licking her skin raw. So I started researching more, and learned about fresh, high quality, lower processed dog food. I found The Honest Kitchen and chose the gourmet grains beef and salmon dehydrated food to see if it would help. Almost immediately, her issues improved drastically. The picture of my two pups on the ramp was before we switched food, and were still struggling with various issues. And the one with their sweaters is after we switched and I feel like you can see the difference and improvement in them both!
