Frankie

nFrankie's first trip to the Vet, revealed a formidable heart murmur, his next trip to the doggie cardiologist at Tufts revealed severe cardiac stenosis, leaky valves, and overall inoperable and untreatable heart disease. Frankie's teeth were pretty bad too, but he could not be sedated for cleanings. We were told to expect perhaps a year with Frankie.

nWe decided to put him on the Honest Kitchen diet after hearing about it on one of the network morning shows. He LOVES this food! We've switched varieties several times because, as humans we wonder if our boy might get bored with the same flavor (this appears doubtful due to the amazing quality of this food!) Every time I make up a batch, he dances around the kitchen barking and (I think he's cheering) wagging. He adores the treats too! Especially the Pecks.

nAlthough, we cannot claim that HK is responsible, Frankie is still going strong after two years and shows no signs of slowing down. His teeth are finally looking healthy too! Instead of every three months, his cardiologist now feels that 6 month check-ups are going to be just fine. We love Honest Kitchen! Thank you for making such a great product.
