 Fred / Fred is a 4 year old cat who was diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease at age 1. This is more common in older male cats. He has had blockages in his urethra that cause him to be unable to urinate. Blockages are life threatening. Because of the condition, he has been required to be on prescription food to get more water into him. The prescription food is a low quality food full of fillers, not to mention very expensive! He was throwing up at least once a day, and losing weight because the nutrients were not getting where they needed to go.
