Frieda

Frieda was found as a stray. She was skin and bones; her ears where fly bitten and she was scared of everything and reactive. Trying to get her to eat anything other than cookies was an act of god. I tried every food under the sun and she would just either not eat at all or take all day to eat her food. While at Petco for something unrelated, I eyed The Honest Kitchen promotion island. I read the ingredients and liked that it was straight forward. I bought a box thinking it was going to end up being yet another donation to the shelter. Boy was I wrong! This is the first time I put her food down and she ate the whole thing in one sitting (standing?). I could not believe it. Yes, I still have to stick a small cookie treat in her food to get her jump-started but I am not complaining. And another benefit is that I am not opening a can of slimy stuff. YEA!
