Frisky was diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma in January 2015. She didn't have much time left with this diagnosis, so I was on a mother mission to make her as comfortable and happy as possible in the time we had left together.

nWe consulted with holistic veterinary specialist, Dr. Patrick Mahaney. He recommended putting BOTH Frisky and my chihuahua Shiggy on Honest Kitchen foods and treats. For Frisky, the pure texture alone of Honest Kitchen food made eating much easier. As for Shiggy, well he devoured his new food with much more enthusiasm than he would traditional kibble.

nUnfortunately, Frisky's time with us came to an end in March. I still miss her terribly, but her illness brought about dietary changes that I wouldn't otherwise have known to make. Her passing left me with a profound sense of responsibility for giving my pets the best life and diet possible.

nI have since reunited with Seven, a cat I rescued many years ago and placed with my mom. I introduced him to Honest Kitchen Grace and Prowl. He loved both products and I noticed a healthy drop in weight as well as more sheen to his coat. Both he and Shiggy go wild for the Quickies and I incorporate Honest Kitchen products as much as finances allow.

nNot a day goes by that we don't miss Frisk, but it brings me comfort to know I am doing everything possible to keep my other two babies healthy and happy. I cherish all the love and companionship they give me in return.
