Grace

 Grace / Grace is about 11 years old. A shih tzu/terrier mix I rescued her from my humane society 10 years ago. She was missing about 1/3 of her hair, had a terrible flea allergy, and what we believed to be a food allergy as well. Over time she healed. She still constantly struggled with seasonal allergies, especially in August and September. When we moved to Utah two years ago, those months were the worst. She'd scratch herself raw, rip her skin open, and be in a constant state of discomfort without allergy medication. About a year and a half ago, I started her on the Honest Kitchen diet. Last August and September was still pretty rough regarding her allergies, but this year so far she's not itching much. She hasn't developed a rash, and she's not ripping open her skin. She's also not taking allergy medication. I am thrilled to see the change in her skin, coat, and health. I have been feeding her Verve, but I am looking forward to trying Zeal now to see if removing starches will even more improve her allergies and itching.
