Gritzie

 Gritzie / Gritzie and her littermates was abandoned at a vet's office without their mother. The vet slowly introduced them to life on a ranch and they all did great for the first few months. Gritzie was the most feral of the litter. Sadly, one by one, coyotes ate the young cats, and Gritzie was the only one to survive. The vet spent hours trying to catch her, and when he did, he and his wife brought her home. All was well, except that their 14 yr. old cat would not accept her. I decided to rehome her with my cats. Even though she was spayed, she acted like she was in heat, so the vet had to respay her and that also happened about 6 months later. So, she has been spayed 3 times. Luckily, the third time worked. She was an extremely picky eater and would often not finish her food. When I learned about Honest Kitchen, I decided to try her on Grace. It took quite awhile, but slowly she became adjusted to the food and now she licks her bowl clean and flies over to her bowl during mealtimes.
