No doubt he's about to get into something!

Gus had so many food sensitivities when he was a puppy. I went through countless foods trying to figure out what was best for him. Turns out he is allergic to poultry and other meats tend to upset his stomach. I was making his food for hours every week. I would spend an entire day cutting up 30 pounds of potatoes and adding minerals and tuna to prepare for a week's worth of food. I got concerned about how much tuna he was having, worried about the amount of mercury he might be ingesting. I was at my wit's end trying to find a food that had no poultry and wouldn't upset his stomach. I also needed a break. Because of the additives I had to use for his food, I was only ever able to make enough for a week and freeze enough for another week. This was such a problem when it came time to travel for work. Having that much food take up space in a dog sitter's freezer was a problem. Then, I came upon the Limited Ingredient Fish Recipe from Honest Kitchen. It was such a relief to find a food that I didn't have to make, that Gus absolutely gobbled up, but that gave me the freedom to leave him with his pet sitter and not have to worry about giving her insane amounts of food to keep in her refrigerator. Having this food has really changed everything about how we go about our daily activities. It's so nice to have my time back and not spend countless hours cutting, cooking and mixing food for him. I can send a box with his dog sitter for his daily daycare activities, it's easy for her to make, there's no defrosting and he loves it! We are all so thankful! He is so excited at mealtime, his coat is healthy and shiny, he doesn't have any digestive issues anymore, and I'm free from the chains of the kitchen! Finding Honest Kitchen was a game changer, and I couldn't be more happy with it.
