Handel

Handel /

Our sweet Handel came to us from our local animal shelter. They posted his picture on their Facebook page and we fell in love! He was an owner surrender and weighed 26 pounds. The poor fella barely fit in his small cage at the shelter and was covered in feces and urine when he was transferred to our vets office for a check up. After a bath, a good brushing and a confirmation that he actually weighed 26 pounds, we brought him home. Our wonderful vet recommended The Honest Kitchen to get him to better health and a better weight. He's only been with us for four months now, but he is already losing weight, having normal bowel movements (which never happened before), and his skin conditions have almost completely cleared up! We are so happy to have him as a part of our family and are so grateful for such an amazing product from The Honest Kitchen to keep him around for a very long time. Thank you!

Update: He passed away in June of 2015 of Pancreatic Cancer after having a big surgery in December of 2014. He recovered so well and had a beautiful last few months of life. His cancer came from his previous life in a hoarding house where he had no medical attention and lived in filth for years. He was so grateful for a clean home and yummy food and we are grateful we got to give him a good end to his life.
