Meet Havok! He is a 13 week old purebred German Shepherd. Ever since I was 4 years old I have BEGGED for a German Shepherd. I somehow just knew that they were the dog for me. I would cut out pictures of GSDs in magazines and tape them to my wall, I would research for hours about the breed, where/how the originated, etc. I was just truly fascinated by the breed. Every Christmas wish list, every shooting star, ever 11:11 wish would contain one thing: a German Shepherd. So now, 16 years later, I FINALLY got my wish. Not only did I finally get lucky enough to own my own GSD, I even got to watch him be born, and help raise the litter! I was lucky enough to score a job with a GSD breeder in my area (who is very well recognized around here) a few years ago. I told her about my dream, and once my parents were convinced, I got to choose the mother and father of the litter. I was there for the AI, I was there for the birth, and I was there every single day after that. It was AMAZING to watch all of the puppies grow, and the day I got to take Havok home has got to be one of the greatest days of my life. He is a wonderful pup, he has great drive and a willingness to work. We have just started training for the German sport of Schutzhund, in which we hope to earn titles in the future. I could not ask for a better first GSD puppy. Though I've had other dogs before him who I love so much, there is just nothing like a German Shepherd! Havok eats an all raw diet, supplemented with Preference for his fruits and veggies, and the occasional Beam or Wish treat :)
