My little guy loves food from the Honest Kitchen! When a pup, a local pet food store recommended the pumpkin pours (he prefers chicken & turkey) to help settle his belly ... when I fed him kibble. Once able to move on beyond puppy food -- even though the second brand of kibble was on my short list based on my own research and my vet's office also recommended his 2nd brand of pup-food (1st were what breeder gave and a sm. bag a local pet store chain advised; unfortunately, they didn't have any brands I researched ... but we needed something to tide us over). He ate most all the nutritious treats -- no belly issues; esp. after his nightly bowl, he'd have gas, belching, hiccups and we kept Pepcid on hand if he had dry heaves or vomited during the night/morning. The mom & pop store recommended was awesome. The rep. explained the difference between the foods they carried and w/in a week of changing kibble and adding 1/3 a box of THK pumpkin pours ... no more need for Pepcid, no more hiccups, no more drive-heaves/vomiting ... And, he'd sit, waiting for me to add a tasty pumpkin pour! I also tried other pours, of which he loves the super-pour 3-pack -- my little guy enjoys his greens and I try to give at least one/week. Rather than continuing on with kibble ... I decided to see what H. thought of clusters -- and unlike the dried pieces of kibble left after breakfast and dinner ... it's a rare day, he leaves a single cluster in his bowl! I still add pumpkin or super-pour each night; we also add some fresh veggies and chicken during the evening. Recently, I bought jerky -- he becomes so excited ... he goes through his different skills before I say a word! It's tied for 2 healthy treats I started giving him as a pup! I appreciate all the time THK take to make healthy food (clusters and pours) and treats for my little guy. I know the foods Henr enjoys best and its amazing to see his excitement when I bring out the healthy foods he eats on a daily basis as well as flavorful treats, with pumpkin and sweet potato, different berries and greens too! Off to buy more healthy HK jerky !!! ??
