nOver time we switched from Embark to Keen due to financial reasons and Hershey and Amy didn't skip a beat. Recently though, Hershey has developed severe health problems and needed to be switched to a low fat diet. We began feeding (at the vet's recommendation) Hill's I/D only to watch Hershey's refuse the food, which made feeding a chore, while her health declined. When we realized that Hill's had only a small percent less fat than Keen and that Honest Kitchen made foods with much less fat than Hill's I/D, we switched her to Zeal.

nSince switching to Zeal Hershey has been eating much better and her health is improving. Hershey is 10 years old now, and the vet has given her 1-2 years to live with her condition, but with a good diet and proper care, we think she will outlive that. And we think she will be hiking again this fall.
