Ivey

During the first year of Ivey's life, she would often get sick and throw up her food or have diarrhea. I used to think that it was the kibble brand, flavor, or the treats I got her. Sometimes she'd even go so far as stop eating, fast for a couple days, then stop drinking water. It was awful. I experimented with different brands, grain free, or even dehydrated foods. I came to realize that she HATED kibble and would sometimes just forgo eating because she hated it. She would love soft food or real chicken. I read as much canine food articles, watched a bunch of movies/videos on pet health. After she was about 1.5 - 2 years of life, when I switched her to the Honest Kitchen Base Mix, and added in my own protein, did all of that picky, gastro issues just miraculously stop. Its been a heaven sent. I can't pinpoint what exactly was wrong, but it is now ALL gone.
