Izzy Pup
Labrador Retriever — Age 13
I have had Izzy Pup since he was five weeks old.I remember the drive home how scared he was. Taken away from his mother leaving the only world he knew. I made a promise that he would never have to face this world alone.I don't know that I could ever find the words to explain my love for Izzy but he is my heart. It's been close to three years ago Izzy began to develop food allergies. I would say I probably spent around 7 grand trying to find the answer's the first year. There was a lot of antibiotics as well because of infections on his paws.. It was both frustrating and heartbreaking. When I tried Honest Kitchen things started to improve. At this point I knew chicken was a problem but Duck, beef and Turkey was fine. Then with beef and Duck I began to notice some signs of irritation. (I guess you could call it) Anyway I didn't want to push the envelope and have infection return. Turkey was my only option. So it worried me Izzy doesn't like eating the same thing all the time. I would rotate from turkey to fish to Duck and so forth.Thankfully it has never been an issue. Izzy every time he is fed gobbles his food down. Sometimes I think he inhales it. Also when I first started Honest Kitcen I mixed dehydrated with the clusters. However I had to stop that as well. So that left the Dehydrated Limited Ingredient Turkey and the Turkey Bone Broth Bites as the only food I can feed my poor wonderful baby Pup. It has been a year and a half he still is always ready to eat up. I could never express how grateful I am for Honest kitchen. I love knowing its quality human grade food I am feeding my dearest friend. Before Honest Kitchen I did my best research made sure it was not a corporation. (Family owned business only) That didn't mean I knew they used quality ingredients in their food. But I knew it was better odds then buying from a corporation. With Honest Kitchen there is there human grade certification stamp. It is very nice to have that assurance.
