Jester

Jester joined our family July 7, 2019 from a breeder in Temecula, CA. He came to us eating a large breed puppy kibble that was chock full of terrible ingredients. Our older golden retriever had been on Canidae for most of his life, so we tried that, but Jester's stomach couldn't handle the puppy food. In the following 5 months we tried 5 different kibbles, all containing something he was overly sensitive or allergic to. When I was buying his pumpkin at Sprouts after another terrible stomach episode, I found The Honest Kitchen. I had been cooking for Jester for about 2 months at this point, with a pending move to Japan coming up, so I needed to find something that was more sustainable than me cooking all his meals. We gave The Honest Kitchen a go and he loved it. We tried the chicken and beef whole grain recipes. Unfortunately, the beef recipe didn't agree with him, but we haven't had any issues with the chicken. Customer service was great and replaced the box of beef with a box of chicken for him. We now buy the 10lb boxes of whole grain chicken and it is shipped directly to our military address in Japan. Thank you for supporting the service members and their pets! We can't imagine changing back to a kibble after learning about how terrible it is for their stomachs and after what great results we have seen since making the switch to The Honest Kitchen!
