July 22, 2019 was one of the worst days of my life. I came home from work to find my dog very ill and unable to stand. Fast forward four hours later, my dog was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the heart and was found to be very anemic due to internal bleeding. Sadly, she was not a candidate for surgery, and the tough decision was made to put her down. Shortly after my dog passed, I found myself at a shelter adopting a new three month old puppy. She appeared very healthy at first and was house trained within days, but at about six months she began having multiple accidents (#2) daily in her cage and around the house as well as some other odd behaviors. After taking her to the vet, she was diagnosed with colitis and her diet was most likely the culprit. The search began to find a food my pup could tolerate. After trying several new foods without any luck, I heard about The Honest Kitchen and decided to give the dehydrated formulas a try. My pup took to the new food right away. She absolutely loved it! She still to this day licks her bowl clean every time. She has had colitis for about a year now and has only had one flare up that lasted a few days since switching over to THK. A little bit of THK Perfect Form cleared it right up! Honestly, this food is amazing. I'm so thankful to The Honest Kitchen for their products. This food is the reason my dog is able to live a normal, happy, and accident free life :)
