All True Stories
Kip was 5 weeks old and started losing her fur to a generalized staph infection -- she looked awful and pitiable. So I knew, as a breeder, that I needed to boost her immune system; the food needed to work with a puppy's digestive system and not cause upset; it needed to be applicable to all life stages; and it needed to have highly digestible and bioavailable ingredients.
I started her on Honest Kitchen Chicken with grains (dehydrated). This was in conjunction with her antibiotic. I expected her stools to become watery w/diarrhea because of the antibiotic. I was pleasantly surprised they stayed so consistent. I attribute it to the high digestibility of the product, as you know, the health and immunity of the dog starts in the digestive tract.
Within days -- DAYS -- her hair started growing back and her staph diminished. This was the fasted recovery I had ever seen. In addition to the aforementioned product, I also used Honest Kitchen dehydrated Goat's Milk and their Perfect Form digestion supplement. I added Salmon Oil (Omega 3) as well.
