Lex

Lex was never a picky eater growing up. That changed this year. He stopped eating all food. He would literally gag at the smell of everything. He lost a lot of weight, stopped grooming himself, and became very weak and lethargic. I took him to the vet. They did tests & found nothing wrong with him other than hepatic liver, & that happened because he stopped eating. So he stayed in the hospital for 3 or 4 days. Then I brought him home. He still wouldn�t eat on his own, & gagged at all his food. So I had to start the arduous process of force-feeding him. I reviewed and looked for all kinds of different foods to try and entice him to eat. He did not care for anything I gave him. I tried fresh, raw & different kinds of wet & dry food. I even tried cooking chicken for him. I had to pur�e everything to make things easier when feeding him. But he still gagged most of the time, still refused to eat. I started to give him milk thistle everyday per my vet�s instructions. That did help as his liver panel had been normal when we did a follow up. But he was still not out of the woods yet. He still would not eat on his own. One day I found THK while browsing through Amazon. I gave it a try, and boy am I glad I did! He slowly started changing for the better. Now he plays again! He�s grooming himself. His fur is growing back, and his skin no longer looks yellow! He�s even eating willingly now! I�m so grateful I found THK. Thank you!
