Our dog was adopted by us after she was given up by her first family. Following that, she had a lot of anxiety - so much so that we never got a moment's peace. As much as we love her, there never seemed to be a treat that would actually distract her long enough to be desensitized to all of her triggers. Luckily we found these treats so that she could calm down long enough for operant conditioning and to begin to countercondition her to the many things she was afraid of. We are so happy to have a more manageable and loving dog! I never would have believed that she could ever be calm enough to do anything like this again. We are so happy to have her with us and are sure to take the treats with us wherever we go. Now everyone comments on how happy and calm she seems compared to when they first met her.
