Louie

Louie is amazing: an energetic hunter, dedicated and loving. Three yrs. ago I gave him a teeth cleaning chew and part of it got stuck in his esophagus so he couldn't swallow at all. He was able to breathe, but it soon became apparent that somehting else was wrong. After xrays showed the piece was stuck, he needed surgery through his stomach to remove it.
