We adopted our male German Shepherd, Luc in 2010 when he was 3 years old and soon thereafter realized he had quite a few, but manageable, health problems. Like a lot of purebred dogs, Luc has food and environmental allergies. We decided early on to have him allergy tested so we could try and manage his food allergies as best possible, seeing as controlling the environmental allergies is nearly impossible (but not totally impossible, fast forward 3 years and we eventually installed AstroTurf). Luc was later diagnosed with EPI, which is defined as Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency. He was rapidly losing weight and from what we read about the disease, if we didn�t get it managed quickly, Luc�s future was looking pretty grim. A close family friend of ours recommended The Honest Kitchen and we never looked back. Luc and his sister Rubie have tried quite a few different Honest Kitchen mixes, however for the past few years we�ve settled on Preference, which is a mixture of dehydrated fruits and vegetables. We mix in a limited ingredient kibble, and some enzymes to help Luc digest his food properly and they are the happiest of campers. We cannot recommend a product more highly than The Honest Kitchen. Luc's food allergies are under control and our furbabies are living happy and healthy lives thanks to your company. We cannot thank you enough!
