Luna

Hi - My name is Luna and I am a 2.5 year old cavachon. King Charles Cavalier Spaniel and Bichon Frise'). Until recently I have been eating dried kibble and never much cared for it. When desperately hungry I'd pick at my bowl throughout the day, but preferred table scraps and our three cats canned food. I have developed lots of great tricks to beg for and sneak food. I also am very sensitive to certain ingredients, like wheat and other fillers and they made my skin itch terribly.

A few weeks ago everything changed. My parents made me a bowl of Honest Kitchen and I have never been so excited about breakfast and dinner in my life. I no longer beg contantly for handouts, pull out chairs to get on the table, or try to get the cats food.
The second I hear the water being heated for my meal, I sit at attention. The 3 minutes they make me wait (while it is rehydrating) before giving it to me feels like an eternity. Now I wimper a bit waiting for my own food.

Sometimes they try to distract me, by taking me out to go potty while the timer is counting down. I do not fall for that foolishness. Don't they know that the most tasty, healthy meal ever is waiting inside. I just keep running back to the front door to ensure that no one forgets what is really important here. Dinnertime!!! Dinnertime!!! Dinnertime!!!
