Luna

Luna started showing signs of allergies when she turned about one year old. Her skin was always a bright pink and there were times she and I both were up all night from her constant itching. I tried a variety of high end 'reputable' dog foods to no avail. Her veterinarian suggested that I put her on Apoquel, however, I wasn't crazy about the idea of her being on medication for the rest of her life so I decided to do some research on different diets that might help her before I took that route. I came across The Honest Kitchen through social media and another bulldog owner that absolutely raved about this food. I decided to go with the Limited Fish Ingredient Recipe based on many of the reviews that claimed this particular recipe helped with their dog's allergies. I definitely am not a big fan of the smell, but I cannot even begin to describe how well Luna has done on this food. I thought the transition would take at least a month or so to see a difference but the results were almost instantaneous! Luna stopped itching almost completely (she still sometimes has a relapse on really windy days) and her skin looks so much better as well! It has even helped produce a more solid stool (before she would often have loose stools or even diarrhea) and she is much less gassy than before! I can't say enough about this food and how it has improved the overall well-being of my baby girl! If you haven't already, The Honest Kitchen is definitely a MUST TRY!
