My dog, Madigan, is 9.5 years old, and just 9 days ago, had a partial mandibulectomy to remove osteosarcoma from her lower jaw. It showed up fast and we had to act fast. Maddy LOVES to eat. My biggest concern was how Maddy was going to do with her meals, without most of her lower jaw. A friend reminded me about The Honest Kitchen foods, and other friends, who own The Modern Paws in Tampa, FL, sent me pretty much all of THK samples available! Not only can Maddy eat this food much easier than other freeze-dried and dehydrated foods, but she LOVES it! So far, Love (grain-free beef) is her favorite. Her brother Farley also enjoys licking the bowl clean when she's done. I feel better knowing that Maddy is on a super-healthy diet. We have chemo sessions in our future, so she needs all the nutrients she can get. I'm so glad The Honest Kitchen exists! We are a THK family for life now!
