Mandy

Shih Tzu — Age 5

In May 2014 we did routine bloodwork on Mandy. Unfortunately her liver enzymes came back elevated. My vet suggested having an ultrasound done so we did. It wasn't good news. Mandy had congenital liver dysplasia, cirrhosis of the liver, chronic active hepatitis and horrific inflammation in her stomach. I started feeding her ground venison and Honest Kitchen Preference by August 2014 we did follow up testing her bloodwork was normal and her ultrasound had shown some improvement. I continued to find the best options for Mandy so I found a Holistic Vet , Dr. Judy Morgan. She suggested home cooking making a puploaf with ground beef, pork, veal, 2 eggs a half cup of cooked barley and a cup of Honest Kitchen Preference hydrated. I started that recipe the 2nd week of January 2015. This past Monday we did a follow up ultrasound and I am so happy to report Mandys liver is completely normal and there is no longer any inflammation in her stomach. Thank you Honest Kitchen so much, my Mandy is a very happy, healthy girl now.
