 Max / A couple years ago, Max started having difficulty going to the bathroom (particularly pooping). He would cry (very pitifully) every time he would go, his bottom was red and angry, and overall was no longer playful and just plain miserable. We took him in to the vet several times, where they said it was an anal gland problem, then it was a secondary problem occurring from seasonal allergies, then lastly possibly an allergy to food. We cut out chicken from his diet, started giving him a higher end dry food, and noticed a slight difference. But, he was still miserable. Then, I remembered a friend telling me about HK. After many hours of researching between different companies, I decided to give HK a try. He has now been eating Keen and Verve for about 4-5 months. After the second-third month, I'm glad to say we have our old Max back! He no longer cries when going bathroom, his stomach is no longer inflamed/taut, and he is being his playful self. Looking back, my only regret is not convincing myself to try HK sooner, but better late then never, right?
