So far, knock on wood, Maxey does not have any medical issues to worry over.

nI got Maxey 18 months ago. She was all matted and dirty but you could tell there was a sweet , loving dog under all that hair .

nGetting her cleaned up and looking so cute was the easy part . Finding the right dog food was not. Until I joined a Shih Tzu group on Facebook and learned about The a Honest Kitchen.

nI ordered the sample packs of Verve. I couldn't wait to get them. Maxey can be so picky; eating great one day and not so great the next. When I received the packs, I mixed one and mixed half with her usual wet food. OMG, you would think she was starving. I gave her the other half alone and when she was done, actually licked the bowl looking for more. I might of found the best food for her!

nHaving her eat your products might help avoid any medical conditions in the future. That would be a bonus. However, right now Maxey seems to like it and that is all I need.
