Merry doesn't have many health problems at the moment as he is only a year old. He can be somewhat finicky when eating. Before feeding The Honest Kitchen's Embark we fed him a mix of wet and dry food, both were grain free and high quality. The wet food was only a supplement as he didn't want his dry food without some of the wet food mixed in. The canned food never looked very appetizing however and didn't receive as high of reviews as The Honest Kitchen did. There wasn't a huge price difference and due to all of the great reviews I started feeding Merry The Honest Kitchen as a topper to his regular dry food (which had pretty good ratings and only feeding The Honest Kitchen was a bit over budget.) It's been a bit over a month now and Merry loves his food, he rarely ever barks but will start to whine whenever he's waiting for dinner. There's never a drop left in the bottom of the bowl and it makes me happy to know that he's getting fed well. Merry never had skin or coat problems but he does seem to have a shiner and softer coat. His skin was also a bit red and irritated after baths but he never has that problem anymore. Thank you THK for this great product!
