Mittens

 Mittens / Mittens showed up at our home in California three months before we were supposed to move cross country to Maryland. Contrary to all that we had heard about long distance travel with a cat, it was great! She rode in a medium sized crate while we drove and hung out with us in the motel rooms at night--she even did well walking on a leash at rest stops. We had been given a free sample of Honest Kitchen cat food when we first found Mittens, and it seemed like a perfect food. (We even noticed that the litterbox smelled less after she pooped!) We continued purchasing it for her, and it worked perfectly for travelling because one box was small, portable, and lasted the whole trip across the country and then some.
