I came across THK while searching for human grade food for my senior guy. THK popped up after I googled human grade pet food and I stopped looking for anywhere else. My dog has been having digestion issues on and off and I don't want to take him to the vet because I know they'll prescribe him antibiotics or their special kibbles for dogs which in my opinion is nothing comparable to THK. Since his indigestion started about 4 months ago his skin has become dry and his hair is not as shiny as it used to be. He's a picky eater but he isn't a dog who couldn't tolerate a specific food. Mitzu is a dog that could eat anything, from flies to dead birds, if you give him the opportunity. To make a long story short, upon stumbling onto THK I went to Whole Foods right away and bought a 4 lbs of Revel. I took a chance that he would like it and that it will make him feel better. I also ordered the sample packets on here and he loves every sample. It took him a good 10 days to get used to it and I only fed him a little portion at a time while slowly taking away the dry kibbles, which were of the highest quality. He had some diarrhea along the way but I believe (knock on wood) his tummy is settling into the new food. I've also tried the dry goat milk but he didn't like that. In addition to feeding him small portions of THK three times a day I also add turmeric to his food. The bottom line is Mitzu LOVES THK and I don't mind the price as long as he's happy and healthy during whatever years he's got left under his belt. I'll update in a few months or so and hopefully by then I can say that he no longer has digestive issues. :)
