Murphy
We adopted Murphy when he was 13 months old. He was one of a litter surrendered to a shelter. He is such a joy and blessing! For the first 3 months I spent so much money on various high quality dog foods. Murphy would eat those for only a few days, then turn up his nose time after time. Then I read a review about Honest Kitchen in the Whole Dog Journal. I was impressed with the healthy human grade dehydrated ingredients, made in a human food production facility, and I tried one of the Grain Free foods. Murphy gobbled it down immediately and continued to gobble it down every day! He gained some much needed weight and his fur thickened and became shiny! Also, a very important thing was that his poop was perfect! I then rotated between the different Honest Kitchen grain free foods, such as beef, turkey, etc. About 2+ years ago Murphy started getting picky with his food again, Honest Kitchen, so I changed to the grain free dedhydrated Base Mixes, rotating between the Fruit & Veggie and the Veggie Nut & Seed base mixes. Every week I change lightly cooked protein I add, like wild caught salmon or mackerel, organic turkey, organic grass fed beef, lamb, etc. Murphy just loves it and it's the perfect solution for him! I love seeing him dig into his food with gusto! And his poo remains beautiful! I also keep a couple bags of the Clusters to give him as a snack. I highly recommend Honest Kitchen to acquaintances.
