Nala
Nala is a Pomsky - pomeranian/husky 6 year old lady. We rescued her about a year ago and we wanted to give her the best food possible to maximize her life. I researched dog food ingredients and found new guidance by the FDA suggesting to avoid peas and lentils since they increase protein without the addition of meats and correlations have been made between pea fiber/lentil derivatives and DCM in dogs. Theres still a lot we dont know but I wanted to do whats best with the information given. I bought Nala the best kibble possible BUT she was so picky and I noticed that some of this kibble was leading to a sensitive stomach. I took one more look at Honest Kitchen since they recently came out with new products following these recommendations and Nala loves it. I used to have to sit next to her, add pumpkin, chicken broth or something for her to consistently eat her kibble. Well not anymore, she wags her tail and follow me around when she sees me preparing her food. The dehydrated Gourmet Grains: Chicken and Duck recipe is convenient for me and Nala loves it!
