Nellie

 Nellie / We've had Nel for 10 years now. In that time, she's always been in good health, or so we thought. In the last 7 years, we've tried many different kinds of food, always thinking she was doing well. She's developed lumps.. everywhere. Our holistic vet recommended a cold diet, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. So we did raw. Turkey, mixed with home made veggie blends. She ended up puffy and bloated, running hot all the time, and her lumps grew. We tried expensive herbal remedies, the lumps grew. We tried different kibble blends. She quickly turned into a 15 year old dog. Within a week of being on Honest Kitchen, she regressed into a very healthy 6 year old.. her lumps have stopped growing, or slowed a great deal. She was sparky with loads of energy, and she slimmed right down. We recently had some financial poop hit the fan, and I had no choice but to put her on a kibble again (still a high quality brand) within a week, she was peeing herself, and ridiculously incontinent. Soaking her bed every 10 minutes or so. As an experiment, I put her back on Embark. Within a few hours, she looked better, within a week, the incontinence has reduced significantly! Today, she hasn't had one accident! I can't fight it. HK is the best for her. I'll never take her off it again, even if I have to live on baked beans.
