We adopted Nyx in the summer of 2011 and have fed a homemade, prey model raw diet every since. Out of our three dogs, Nyx has always had trouble keeping on weight. If we increased the amount of raw food she ate she would get bloated/gassy and would be very obviously uncomfortable. If we increased the fat she was getting she would have loose stools.
When we moved this last year we switched the dogs to a commercial kibble while we figured out our new living situation, freezer space etc. While the other dogs dealt with dull coats/decreased energy we noticed that finally Nyx wasn't struggling to maintain her body weight!
With that in mind, when we switched back to raw we started including THK Keen. It worked (without all the nasty kibble side effects!) We only need to add a small amount to her diet and she has never looked better. I am so glad that we found the Honest Kitchen. We now use your treats and Perfect Form for the occasional upset stomach as well. :)
