Odin

I adopted Odin when he was about 4-5 months old. He was so skinny and the person I adopted him from said her vet said he just needed to eat more. He was on really cheap kibble, his hips were sunken in and his coat was horrible and had dandruff. I switched him to a premium dry food initially but he still would drink water nonstop and when he pooped it was huge and all liquid. After months of research we realized he had EPI (pancreatic enzyme deficiency). So after a while I found out that a mixture of dry food, wet food and mixed with enzyme powder worked great for him. He was on this for about a year with no issues and then he started to not want to eat, and his stomach would gurgle in the mornings and he would vomit up stomach bile a few times a week. I first put him on boiled chicken, rice and sweet potatoes for a few weeks to give his stomach some time to heal and switched him over to the honest kitchen dehydrated grain free food. My father recommended it and said his dog does great on it. After a week he was eating every meal and his stool was solid. His coat is super soft and he is full of energy and love. We run 3-5 miles a day with additional 1-2 mile walks, he is at a healthy weight and wonderful. Thank you Honest Kitchen!!
