Our Australian Shepherd Oso was diagnosed with early stage kidney disease and prescribed a special dog food. Not only was it expensive, Oso didn't really like it and wanted to eat our other dogs food. We also saw no change in him. We told the owner of our local pet store (also an aussie owner) our situation and asked if he could suggest anything, he suggested The Honest Kitchen so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did! Not only do the dogs love the food, but Oso is acting like the young dog he is and not a grumpy old one.
