 Pax / Our dog is 10 years old and has been itching consistently for about two years and then developed ear infections that were yeast related. We tried to cure the ear infections twice to no avail. The vet mentioned that if the infections don't clear, there is something in his diet that is causing them. He had been on a grain free diet from the pet store - I have since learned that doesn't really mean grain free. Next step - I went to a homemade raw diet - which was great, except he wasn't getting the correct amount of food or calcium from bone meal.
