Penny

I rescued Penny when she was 7 months old from a backyard breeder. She had been kept in a crate in a garage 24/7. I wanted to feed her what I had been told was a quality food. She had skin issues and also developed pancreatitis at one point and I almost lost her. Without naming names, it was not up to Honest Kitchen's standard of quality. I was told about Honest Kitchen at my local pet food store. Penny was just around 3 years old when she started on this food. I had her on the chicken grain free dehydrated. She never developed pancreatitis again and her skin issues got better but would still pop up on occasion. I then switched her over to the Embark since chicken is considered a hot meat. She has been on the embark for 6 years now and has never had another issue with her skin. She absolutely loves her meal times, prancing around the kitchen like a puppy. I now have 3 Boston X's, 2 of which I inherited from a friend and a sister who both passed away. It was their wishes that I take their dogs, knowing that I would continue to feed them the Honest Kitchen food. I has converted these two to this food for their fur babies as well. Is it expensive food? Sure it is but I figure I've saved that much if not more on vet bills. And most importantly, knowing that I am feeding these pups the absolute best food for their health is priceless! Thank you Honest Kitchen, from Penny, Bella and Molly.
