Penny
Greyhound — Age 8
Penny developed pancreatitis last year and was in the hospital for 8 days. It was very touch and go. The doctors put her on a diet of Royal Canin. I could tell that this was not good for her. She began having dental problems, but the doctors told me that the low the fat content the better. It was so hard to find a food that was low enough in fat for her other than the royal canin. I search for months. I finally told me VET that I really needed to get her off the royal canin. I could tell it was not good for her. We both agreed to try her on preference and mix it with turkey to keep the fat low. She is doing great, she has much more energy, her dental problems have cleared. I will never feed a dog any thing else. She still has some issues to overcome, but if it wasn't for this food I do believe that she would not be with us now.
