When Pi was diagnosed with brain cancer in July 2013, he began to deteriorate very quickly. What was once an extremely fit athlete became a gaunt and very weak senior citizen. He began having trouble eating, and kibble would be left in his dish after every meal. Even though he seemed hungry, chewing was becoming more and more of a challenge. Pi's weight was rapidly decreasing, and no matter what we did, his frame was becoming weaker....then we discovered THKs formulas, and all of this changed! Because THK could be made into a gruel-like meal, Pi was able to eat to his heart's content, and the weight that had once melted off, reappeared and Pi's energy returned...he was like a new dog. Although the cancer took Pi from us in November, it was thanks to THK that he was able to live a happier, longer life.
