Pixie

 Pixie / We adopted Pixie in June of 2011, she is a medium sized Labrador mix. In the beginning, we kept her on the puppy kibble she was fed at the rescue. As time went by, we noticed that she seemed excessively itchy and her coat was dull. She just didn't have that glow of health that we all want to see in our animals. I began doing research on dog food and that led me to research feeding raw. I kept reading about this company called The Honest Kitchen and everything that I found was positive. I went to the website and really liked what was out there. I decided that I wanted to source the proteins myself to I switched Pixie over to Preference, the base mix. Using the base mix made feeding raw so simple and easy for me and so much more healthy for my dog. The itchiness has all but vanished and Pixie's coat glistens. She is healthy, strong and thriving on the Honest Kitchen food. We are believers!
