I got Porthos as a 16 week old puppy. We've always stayed active but after a year we noticed he had problems with food allergies. Porthos would eat and an hour or two later he'd be gagging and drooling. He'd also constantly chew on his paws. He loved to eat but food never loved him. After a lot of vet visits we realized he had an allergy to poultry and Mr. Porthos, after eating everything in sight like most Puggles do, had gotten chunky. He just wasn't as active or interested in doing anything but eat grass or sleep due to not feeling well. After trying lots of different foods with mixed results we turned to The Honest Kitchen. I only wish we had sooner!

nAfter an adjustment period, Porthos stopped gagging and stopped chewing on his paws. The weight has even melted away! Porthos is now a happy, healthy Puggle who LOVES his food. His coat is beautifully shiny and he's back to being my happy Puggle boy.
