All True Stories
I spent months searching for the perfect Labrador breeder and even longer searching for the right food. I frequently go backpacking, swimming, hiking, pretty much anything that gets me outside and making sure Remi had the proper nutrition to keep up with me was my first priority. I finally settled on Orijen Large Breed Puppy.

nI began transitioning him a few days after I picked him up and all seemed well. Then about a month later, he started throwing up some of his kibble and consistently had soft stool. He always had pumpkin and yogurt mixed in his food to help. I also divided his meals into toys to help slow down his eating. But, after this had gone off and on for four months, I sought guidance. My holistic vet suggested that there might be too many meats in his food and to select one with a single protein source. I ended up switching him to Acana Duck and Bartlett Pear. Again, he transitioned perfectly, but his stool still wasn't firm. Then, twelve hours after eating, he threw up undigested kibble. That was it. That was the moment I decided we were going to try The Honest Kitchen.
n
nOn day one, I began the transition and again, he threw up. So, I decided to forgo the transition period and switch him over to THRIVE cold turkey. He hasn't thrown up since and his stool has been nice and firm. He is now eleven months old and weighs fifty five pounds. His growth was stunted due to his digestion issues and after switching to THK, he actually gained weigh and started getting more muscle definition.

nWe now rotate meals between THRIVE, EMBARK and LOVE.
