Riley

Australian Shepherd — Age 2

We got Riley when he was 12 weeks old and the breeder had him on Puppy Chow. While I wasn't exactly thrilled with her choice of puppy food, I kept him on it for the first few months with us then slowly introduced him to an A quality puppy food. I did this as slowly as I could, and he always had loose stools and major accidents. Australian Shepherd's don't have tails so potty time can be an adventure when they eat something that doesn't agree with them.
n
nThis went on for about 3 months while I searched for a puppy food that was high quality and helped him grow, thrive and prevent him from having those awful side effects.
n
nWhen he was 11 months old I gave up and started on the search for a high quality adult food that agreed with him. This was no easier than finding a puppy food. After slowly introducing several expensive and high quality foods I gave up, and bought him his first box of the Honest Kitchen Force. It was amazing!!
n
nRiley began to thrive. He no longer had loose or too thick stools. I didn't have to chase the poor dog around the garage ever again to clean him up before he was allowed back in the house. His coat is gorgeous. His eyes just sparkle, and he's full of life. I know that if he could talk he would thank the Honest Kitchen for stopping his mom from chasing him around with the baby wipes and the hose! Everyone who meets him talks about how beautiful he is and part of that is due to his food!!
n
nRiley and I thank you for making such a great food. His only complaint would be the 5 minutes he has to wait for the food to rehydrate!
n
nI'll never buy another canned wet food again, ever!! I just wish you would make an Honest Kitchen quality kibble as most dogs like to have some crunchy kibble in their meal. You make it, we'll buy it!!
